Caitlin Hurley

Caitlin is a part time assistant minister across the one1seven church network, working with the youth, young adults and professionals living in Redfern and Green Square. Caitlin is passionate about this age group as her early adult years were a pivotal time in her growing to trust God. She wants nothing more than young people of this area to come to know and love the the God of the Bible. 2015 is Caitlin’s first year in parish ministry as she has just finished studying at Moore Theological College. When not serving at one1seven, Caitlin is working for the former Archbishop of Sydney, Peter Jensen in his capacity as the General Secretary of the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans.

Geoff Miles

Geoff works two days a week as one1seven Redfern’s chaplain. He leads the one4life program which consists of an Overcomers Outreach addiction program Friday mornings, a Friday evening food ministry and and various studies including the exciting Christianity Explored course. He also works with volunteers who are doing great work with ESL.

Geoff has varied experiences in life, dairy farming and earth moving for 20 years, managing a Christian conference centre for 10 years and establishing a software company for 12 years. He grew up in a Christian family and initially rejected God. Finally, though (and maybe even reluctantly) Geoff asked God to show Himself and was very surprised and grateful when He did. For some 40 years now God has proved Himself faithful to Geoff in all promises he has made in scripture.

Widowed in 1994, Geoff is now married to Susan who a great blessing to him, and has children and grandchildren as well. He enjoys reading, fishing and mucking around with the grandchildren with whom he has discovered a common enemy, their parents.
